Being a luxury wedding photographer, I have had the pleasure to have shot at some incredible venues across the UK. Whether that be the stunning countryside manors or a chic city elopements, I love them all!
Here is a list of 7 of my favourite luxury wedding venues in the UK to give you a helping hand when looking for your perfect venue!
Location - Weston, Shrewsbury
A beautiful Shropshire countryside venue boasting incredible views of the surrounding rolling hills, stunning gardens and estate. The ultimate luxury venue, with ornate interiors embellished in gold. With many rooms to choose from The Chapel, The Ballroom, The saloon and The winter garden there will always be an option for your day! The perfect venue for modern luxury!
Location - London
The beautifully luxurious venue that is, The Ned! The perfect London venue for high class events. The Ned is suitable for those elopement weddings but also the grand weddings of up to 200+ guests. Attention to detail is at the top of the list and you can expect expert levels of assistance throughout your special day. They can even take care of the planning from florals to styling they have you covered! A flawless London location with incredible views of the city from the roof terrace.
Location - Essex
A venue fit for a royal! Gosfield hall was previously a royal palace and is a stunning Essex mansion layered in history and ornate details. There are several grand rooms for you to choose from for you and guests to enjoy throughout the day. With exquisite chefs on board to create your own bespoke menu from reception canapés to enjoying your wedding breakfast this is definitely on my luxury venue list!
Location - Richmond, North Yorkshire
Middleton Lodge is an 18th century Georgian estate surrounded by 200-acres. It is a privately owned estate located close to Richmond in the North Yorkshire countryside. A dreamy wedding venue for the countryside estate lovers. Middleton is a private venue with the choices of hiring the whole estate or your choice of 16 bedrooms for a luxury stay. A stunning venue oozing character from the sweeping staircase, a beautiful garden marquee and the ever popular walled gardens with Fig House.
Location - Somerset
Babington House is a stunning countryside venue for those quintessential country weddings. It is a Grade-II listed manor surrounded with 18 acres of English countryside. Based in Somerset and only 30 minutes from Bath, you can just imagine how beautiful the location is!
The options are endless with this one. They have accommodation for guests with 33 bedrooms to choose from. Your choice of rooms for your ceremony and wedding breakfast and even a church on the estate for your ceremony!
Location - Mayfair, London
A breath-taking, elegant mansion situated in Mayfair, London. Dartmouth house will give you the feel of a classic London wedding but the look of a French Chateau in the stunning outdoor courtyard! Incredible interiors and the grandeur of the marble staircase makes this venue a stand out as one of the top luxury venues in the UK. Perfect for the contemporary weddings!
Location - Cotswolds
"An oasis of peace" as Euridge described and that is exactly what this venue is. An incredibly enchanting countryside venue. Surrounded by beautiful grounds, this private estate is full of Georgian architecture. The infamous thatched boathouse is one of my favourite parts about this venue. Perfect for the classic and also the quirky weddings. A truly magical venue!
